The Artist
Anna Elizabeth Schneider is an artist concentrating primarily in painting, alongside frequent explorations in drawing and printmaking. Anna is completing her senior year pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Messiah University, and she is otherwise based in Newark, Delaware. Her work explores a variety of subjects ranging from purely academic studies to concepts of human presence within the natural world, with an emphasis on the activity of light throughout all images she investigates. Anna is deeply inspired by the Classical, Romantic, and Impressionist traditions and looks to explore the human figure and the natural world in conversation with this art historical lineage.
